Customer Service Representative (Commercial Lines Insurance)

We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our commercial clients, manage their insurance needs, and support our producers and account managers in delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support:
    Serve as the primary contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on coverage options.
  • Policy Management:
    Handle policy servicing tasks, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, certificates of insurance, and claims assistance.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Quoting and Proposals:
    Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for new and existing clients.
  • Problem Solving:
    Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to resolve client concerns and negotiate coverage options.
  • Account Maintenance:
    Monitor client accounts to ensure policies remain active and meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities:
    Identify and recommend additional insurance products to enhance coverage for existing clients.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Support producers and account managers with administrative tasks and strategic account management initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in commercial lines insurance.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance license or willingness to obtain one within a designated timeframe.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., AMS
    360, Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, and auto.
