Our Digital Technology team is growing and seeks a Senior Systems/Network Administrator with a current/active US Secret security clearance to work onsite in Fulton, MD.
Senior Systems/Network Administrator
Responsibilities- Windows and Linux system administration of enterprise‑wide or program/lab related systems.
- Administration or support of virtualized environments using VMWare, Hyper‑V, Citrix, and Proxmox.
- Administration or support of enterprise domain environments, including Group Policy, SCCM, PKI, DHCP, and DNS.
- Basic network administration of network appliances, implementation of new ACLs and VLANs.
- Documenting and reporting of system configuration and hardening adherence (CIS, DISA STIG, NIST, etc.).
- Assisting in implementation and integration of COTS solutions and infrastructure deployments.
- Collaborating with team members to design future technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture security policies.
- Staying up to date with current technology innovations.
- Degree in STEM or equivalent experience; at least 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or eligible to obtain it.
- Understanding of system hardening and security compliance, including NISPOM, DISA STIGs, NIST 800‑171.
- Active, transferable U.S. Secret security clearance before start date.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Creative problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for racking equipment.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Self‑driven with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with container technologies, cloud, Dev Ops concepts, and/or software development.
- Proficiency in scheduling and prioritizing workloads.
- Proficiency in bash and/or Power Shell scripting.
- Relevant certifications (MCSA, RHCSA, VCP, etc.).

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD – 181,700 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, experience, education, location, and skills.
