ServiceNow Developer

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Service Now Developer to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.
US Citizenship is required.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. • Build, improve, and support applications on the Service Now platform.
• Work closely with customers to understand needs and turn them into technical solutions.
• Update and test customizations during platform upgrade s.
• Provide input on project planning, design, and implementation based on your technical experience and understanding.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.
• Solid grasp of the Service Now platform's architecture and best practices, capable of designing scalable, maintainable solutions beyond basic configurations.
• Familiarity with Service Now APIs like Glide Record, Glide Ajax, and other server/client-side scripting tools.
• Proficiency in scripting using JavaScript, plus working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

• Experience with the Service Now platform, including Employee Center, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to a variety of audiences.
• Experience building in Service Now's Next Experience (UI Builder).
• Familiarity with Angular
  
  JS or the UI Framework used in Next Experience.
• Familiarity with Service Now's Source-to-Pay.
