Computer Systems Analyst – Advanced

KAIROS, Inc., a growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) located near Naval Air Station Patuxent River, California, MD, is seeking an energetic and experienced Computer Systems Analyst, Advanced. The role will be performed at a government site in St. Inigoes, MD and is contingent upon contract award.

• Oversee systems management and integration efforts, driving improvements in existing computer systems and reviewing system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints.
• Provide strategic recommendations on commercially available software to ensure alignment with organizational goals and needs.
• Support and guide junior staff and collaborate with senior team members in applying analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Analyze or recommend commercially available software.
• Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.

• Analytical problem‑solving ability, evaluating results to choose the best solution.
• Ongoing technical learning and application of new knowledge.
• Competence in computer programming, software configuration, and data processing.
• Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills.
• Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work within a challenging, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask to meet competing deadlines.
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to evolving technology.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, computer science, or information technology discipline.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline plus four (4) additional years of work experience.
• Alternatively, six (6) additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant work experience.

Active Secret Security Clearance is required. The position requires a U.S. Citizen capable of completing a full background investigation.
