Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support enterprise data modernization and cloud migration initiatives. This role focuses on re-engineering legacy databases, optimizing ETL pipelines, and implementing modern cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL/No

SQL platforms, Python, PySpark, and AWS cloud services, enabling scalable, high-performance, and efficient data workflows.

• Design, develop, and optimize complex data queries and ETL pipelines for migration initiatives.
• Migrate legacy databases (e.g., Oracle) to modern cloud architectures.
• Implement and automate data transformation workflows using Python and PySpark on Databricks, Iceberg, and Data Lake platforms.

• Collaborate with business and application stakeholders to optimize data retrieval and performance.
• Support Dev Ops and CI/CD processes for data platform deployments.
• Assist with enterprise data modernization initiatives as required.

• 3+ years of experience with Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle, Iceberg, Databricks, and Data Lake platforms.
• 3+ years of experience building ETL pipelines and performing data ingestion and transformation using Python and PySpark.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS services:
  Lambda, Glue, SNS, SQS, Kafka, Event Bridge, Step Functions, S3, Aurora.
• 3+ years supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL/No
  
  SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and data refactoring.
• Experience migrating legacy databases and converting stored procedures.
• Proven ability to design scalable, efficient ETL pipelines.

• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools:
  Terraform, Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with container platforms:
  Open Shift, AWS EKS, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
