• Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) 4790.2 maintenance documentation requirements.
• This position requires a Secret government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
• This position will involve around 10% travel.

The Work

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop compelling narratives that support business and risk‑management objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover novel data sources, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights through visualizations and dashboards.

In this role you will:

• Collect, process, and analyze data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions.
• Apply proven statistical methods to draw insights and translate them into actionable business results.
• Identify and acquire novel data sources to enrich analyses.
• Perform data mining, processing, and summarization while ensuring data quality.
• Query databases, ensure quality of data scraping, and resolve data issues promptly.
• Analyze large datasets, derive valid inferences, and prepare and present insights via narratives, visualizations, or dashboards.
• Establish and maintain data pipelines and new analytics capabilities.
• Produce and monitor key performance indicators.
• Formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems.
• Program‑management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
• Perform root cause analysis using analytics.

• T/M/S H-53 Maintenance Knowledge
• LSS/Blackbelt certification
• H-53 Maintenance knowledge/experience
• H-53 Aircrew Experience
• Experience with statistics and data-mining (trend discovery and analysis, text mining, correlation and pattern discovery).
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross functional teams, both remote and in-person.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills, and the ability to present complex technical issues to customers and LM management.
• Ability to help develop analytical tools for H-53 heavy lift programs that optimize performance and reduce cost.
