As part of our Multi‑Factor Authentication Help Desk team, you’ll play a direct role in protecting national security systems by ensuring users can securely access the networks they depend on every day. This role sits at the intersection of identity management, customer support, and operational security, and it’s a great entry point into high‑side systems administration within a mission‑focused environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced technical teams while building foundational skills that align with Intelliforce’s core competencies in systems engineering, cybersecurity, and secure IT operations.
Schedule and Work Details
- Location: Government or Contractor facility in the Ft. Meade, MD area
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day‑shift hours
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
- Telework: Not available
Here’s What Your Day‑to‑Day Might Include
You’ll support the MFA Help Desk by issuing, maintaining, and tracking authentication tokens across multiple networks. Your work will focus on accuracy, accountability, and customer interaction, ensuring users receive timely support while maintaining strict security standards.
- Issue, collect, and manage RSA tokens across distribution sites
- Perform basic troubleshooting for MFA and token‑related issues
- Gather and document technical details for escalation to higher‑tier support
- Maintain accurate logs, metrics, and reports related to token distribution
- Interact directly with technical teams to communicate issues clearly and professionally
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation
- Contribute to internal knowledge articles and process documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Clearance:>
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required - Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Three (3) years of relevant experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, for a total of seven (7) years of experience
Required Skills
- Experience working in a customer service‑oriented technical environment
- Ability to triage issues independently and prioritize workload
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience maintaining logs, metrics, or ticketing systems
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting concepts in secure IT environments
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems
- Understanding of computer security principles and access control
- Experience with scripting or automation tools
- Familiarity with documentation standards and SOP maintenance
Technology Environment
This role operates in a secure enterprise environment supporting MFA services across classified networks. Technologies and platforms include Windows operating systems, RSA authentication services, identity and access management workflows, ticketing and logging systems, internal metrics and reporting tools, and secure documentation repositories used to support operational and compliance requirements.
