Job Overview

KAIROS, Inc. is searching for an experienced, highly motivated SharePoint/Power Platform Developer. This position is onsite at NAWCAD WOLF St. Inigoes, MD. Established in July 2013, KAIROS, Inc. is a growing Woman Owned Small Business providing full lifecycle Cybersecurity, Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Training and Education services. Primary

Duties
  • SharePoint Online (SPO) Development:
    • Design and develop SPO solutions, workflows, forms, and custom applications.
    • Configure document libraries, lists, permissions, and metadata structures.
    • Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
    • Implement governance, security, and compliance best practices within SPO.
  • IT Services Support:
    • Provide Tier I–III IT services, such as troubleshooting, system administration, and end‑user support.
    • Support Office 365 applications, collaboration tools, and the Division’s enterprise IT infrastructure.
    • Assist Government Project Lead (GPL) with system monitoring, updates, and security performance.
    • Implement ITIL-based service management processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Integration & Modernization:
    • Maintain, update, and integrate future SPO items with MS Teams, Power BI, and external applications.
    • Assist with migrating legacy data and applications into SharePoint Online.
    • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions to support decision‑making.
  • Training & Enablement:
    • Develop and maintain training materials, provide end‑user training and support.
Skills and Qualifications
  • SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Teams integration.
  • Office 365 administration and Azure Active Directory.
  • IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • System administration, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Power Shell scripting for automation and SharePoint environment management.
  • Active Directory, SQL Server administration, Microsoft 365 integration (hybrid).
  • Experience in SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and large-scale implementation projects.
  • Implementation of SharePoint security best practices, compliance requirements, governance frameworks, audit and monitoring tools.
  • Configuration and maintenance of SharePoint service applications (Search, Managed Metadata, User Profile).
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a fast‑paced team.
  • Scripting, automation and customer relations skills.
  • Microsoft office suite proficiency.
  • Adaptability to evolving technology.
Preferred Skills and Experience (not required)
  • UI/UX design and development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection.
  • Microsoft certifications (SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert).
  • Advanced Power Platform expertise.
  • Experience leading SharePoint initiatives and mentoring.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Alternative:
    Experience (3–5 years) in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; at least 1 year in DoD in IT, Cyber Security, or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Security+ CE Certification (Preferred).
Clearance

This position requires a U.S. Citizen and a full background investigation. It requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation

Estimated salary range: $70,000 to $85,000. Additional benefits provided.
