Jr Test Engineer - Fresher

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Manual Testing Fresher to join our QA team. As a fresher, you will work under the guidance of senior QA engineers to test applications, identify bugs, and ensure product quality before release.

• Understand project requirements and assist in preparing test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers and the QA team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of test results and processes.
• Continuously learn testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, regression, smoke, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello – added advantage).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
• Basic knowledge of databases and writing simple SQL queries (preferred but not mandatory).
• Good communication skills and team collaboration ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.Tech, MCA, BCA, etc.).
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of testing experience.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) will be a plus.
