Operational Language Analyst

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 3 to support operations in Hanover, Maryland
.

The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

TS/SCI with Poly

• Chinese-Mandarin
• Pashto
• Kanuri

• At least 10 years of full‑time experience
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or level 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• 10 years in crypto language processing, related language, and/or crypto experience

    target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification
• 6 of the 10 years in crypto language processing must include QC'ing and mentoring
• 6 of the 10 years has to be in the required language(s)
• If candidate has worked with multiple languages:
  • 4 of the 6 years has to be in performing crypto language processing
  • 3 of the 6 years has to be in simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
• 1 year experience QC'ing at ILR level 3 in target language
• No more than 3 of the 10 years in reporting as primary duty
• 1 of the 6 years in target language has to be within 6 years of resume submission

Mid/Senior positions require a bachelor's degree or an additional four years of experience.

Pay Range: $160,000 to $190,000 – full salary range lowest to highest across locations. (Pay ranges are required for Maryland, Colorado and Hawaii.)
