Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer who will provide support to Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure (PdM IWCI) in the areas of automation design, coding, and deployment of infrastructure within a cloud environment.

The Dev Ops Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Develop Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines, instrument code to report relevant metrics, and build safe and efficient build processes.
• Create and maintain automated microservice deployments to a Gov Cloud/IL‑5 environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Support the Dev Ops pipeline to automate deployments to production.
• Participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, and directing technical support activities applicable to the migration of Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and microservices.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error‑free.
• Participate in government oversight of contractor software development activities, including as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint reviews).
• Experience in implementing Agile and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies with a passion for agile principles and best practices.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, such as Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Experience coding and scripting with common languages, such as Python, Linux Shell, and Java.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools, such as Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with microservices and Docker containerization.
• Experience with security testing tools and techniques.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and operate in a collaborative manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proven verbal and written communication, and the ability to work on multi‑functional teams in a fast‑paced development environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with up to four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience substitutable for a degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with software development and related experience.
• 25% travel required to Army and contractor locations within CONUS.

Certifications:

• Certification in AWS and/or Azure Dev Ops Engineer or similar certification.
• Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
