: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Flexible schedules required;

Responsible for assisting Residents in their daily living routines. Duties are performed under the indirect supervision of the Nurse or Supervisor, with established procedures and guidelines. As a Caregiver (CNA/PCA), your role will be vital in ensuring our residents feel cared for and supported.

• Responsible for the “Assisted Daily Living” duties and functions that allow the Residents to be clean and comfortable. Duties include transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens.
• Physically ensures the Residents get to appointments such as salons, transportation, activities, and meals, including pushing wheelchairs, following closely behind walkers, and ensuring schedules are met.
• Responsible for the Residents under their care & recording communications for co-workers, shift summaries, and care notes.

• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects/people weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Work for sustained periods maintaining concentrated attention to safety, detail, and accuracy.

• Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.

• Reliable and dependable with attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions without supervision.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents and family members, team members, and the general public.
• Ability to make decisions in stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate directions to all levels of team members, both in writing and verbally.
• Possesses good character and displays a high degree of personal integrity.
• Displays sincere compassion toward cognitively impaired older adults.
• Demonstrates genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of older people and their families.
