• Job Summary
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound services at the hospital. Displays expertise in ultrasound techniques and practices, trains students and new technologists, supports our ultrasound accreditation, and serves as an advocate to all providers, patients, and other staff members involved in ultrasound studies for our community.
• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an Ultrasound program from an accredited institution.
• Registration/Certification/Licensure
  • ARDMS or ARRT
• Experience
  • 1 year previous ultrasound experience a plus; new graduates with strong clinical background highly considered.
• Other Requirements
  • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
  • CPR required within 30 days of hire date.
  • Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.
  • Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction.
