Location:

Metropolitan Behavior Health Services (MBHS), Largo, Maryland

Supervisor:
Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent)

Position Summary

MBHS is seeking passionate, motivated graduate-level therapists (Master’s in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field) who are ready to grow their clinical skills in a supportive and diverse outpatient behavioral health setting. This is an ideal opportunity for students completing internship hours or post‑graduates working toward licensure (LMSW, LGPC, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults under clinical supervision
  • Conduct intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and develop person‑centered treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and licensing standards
  • Attend weekly clinical supervision and team meetings
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and community resources
Ideal Candidate
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field
  • Open to clinical supervision and eager to receive feedback and grow professionally
  • Passionate about serving diverse populations and making a difference in mental health
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with trauma‑informed care, CBT, DBT, or other evidence‑based models (preferred but not required)
