Job Summary:

Med Star Health is looking for a PRN - Zero hour Patient Service Coordinator to join our team for the Urgent Care in Arundel Mills in MD.

As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing the best customer service to patients by greeting them with a warm and friendly smile, checking in/out processes, gathering demographic information, insurance verifications, as well as taking copayments and scheduling. • Manage intake of patients into the practice, screen for emergent conditions, register, verify and explain patient responsibility for payment.
• Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or the designated hospital department.

• 6 months – 1 year of providing high quality customer service required, preferably in a health care setting.
• High School Diploma.

This position has a hiring range of $18.33 - $31.61.
