We are looking for talented hair stylists in Timonium (near REI & Shop Rite) who are passionate about cutting hair and making their clients look great! Our team is dedicated to exceptional customer service and building up a large client base, and the ideal candidate for this role has similar goals in mind. At Sport Clips, we provide ongoing training to our hair stylists and barbers so they can stay up to date on the latest haircut trends.

Our stylists typically average $26-30/hour including base pay, tips, and incentives.

• Provide exceptional haircuts and grooming services to clients of all ages, with a focus on men’s and boys’ styles.
• Offer professional advice on haircuts, styling, and product recommendations based on individual client needs.
• Ensure a positive experience by engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to a clean and inviting salon environment.
• Stay up-to-date with current hair trends, techniques, and products to ensure top-notch service.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for clients.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase sales.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the salon operates smoothly.

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license in the state of employment (required).
• Previous experience in a salon or barber shop setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients and coworkers.
• A passion for providing outstanding service and creating a positive experience for every client.
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a fun, upbeat atmosphere.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
