Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeper will manage high-volume transaction processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Perform collections on delinquent accounts, including aging analysis and follow-up on past-due balances
• Handle customer and vendor payments via ACH, check, and credit card
• Prepare and review invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and performed two- and three-way matching
• Support payroll and HR administration, including onboarding, terminations, benefits, retirement plans, garnishments, bonuses, deductions, PTO tracking, and employment verifications
• As a Bookkeeper, you will conduct bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities
• Assist with audits, reporting, and financial analysis as needed
• Maintain organized financial records and ensured adherence to internal controls and company policies

• Over 10 years of progressive experience supporting accounting and finance operations across multiple business environments
• Comprehensive experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable, including billing, invoicing, collections, cash application, and vendor management
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient with accounting, ERP, payroll, and project management systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaborative platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
