This is a full-time on-site role located in Laurel, MD, for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will oversee the company’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, directing financial operations, developing strategies to optimize company financial performance, and managing relationships with stakeholders and financial institutions. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership to drive long-term business growth and operational excellence.
Additional duties include leading a dynamic finance team and implementing systems to track and report financial outcomes.
- Expertise in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting with strong analytical skills
- Experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Reporting
- Construction or related Industry experience
- At least 5 years of previous CFO experience
- Proficiency in Accounting, Auditing, and the use of financial management software and tools
- Strong Leadership and Team Management abilities to guide finance professionals
- Excellent Communication and Strategic Thinking skills to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA highly preferred
- Experience with Sage Intaact is plus
- Proven track record of financial leadership, particularly within construction, drilling, or related industries
- Ability to adapt to industry-specific requirements and a dynamic work environment
