POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The financial analyst will support the Business Financial Managers and Program Manager in the areas of contract execution and financial projections to ensure contract expenditures align with program financial plans. Candidate will interface directly with Program Managers, Contractors, Contracts Specialist, and Business Financial Managers to execute the duties assigned. This position shall support the development of financial execution charts for all contractual efforts currently funded in the PMO.

The financial analyst is to review monthly financial deliverables from the contractors, record the financial execution data into program office financial reporting tools, and present status to the BFM and PM as required to support the programs funding requirements and funding profile. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Support Program Management on program execution
• Maintain financial analysis documentation

• Provide support for disbursing issues and work with vendors on invoice discrepancies

• Support the execution data of active contracts and contract modifications required to support the programs requirements and funding profile

• Act as financial liaison between BFM, field sites, and contractors

• Integrate and support BFM and PM for budget review and Program Management Meetings

• Track contract funding actions, develop metrics, and develop tools to anticipate funding modifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Citizenship
• Active Top-Secret

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in financial management of DoD systems, analysis or management of DoD budget/financial requirements in a DoD acquisition program.

• Experience with, and knowledge of, the DoD Acquisition process on ACAT III programs.

• Detailed understanding of the DoD budgetary process form Resource Sponsor, FMB, and Comptroller.
• Experience supporting NAVAIR programs at multiple classification levels

• Knowledge and capability in planning, managing, budgeting, and reviewing multiple contract financial documents

• Demonstrated proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Office, and Excel

• Understanding of multiple DoD Financial Tools
