Special Events and Promotions Marketing Coordinator

Compensation

Minimum: USD $17.71 per hour. Maximum: USD $24.42 per hour.

The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and being the focal point for promotions and special events at Live Casino Hotel. This role is an all‑in‑one for all promotions and events, performing special projects as directed by the Promotions and/or Special Events Managers. Successful promotions and events are integral to Live Casino Hotel’s status as the #1 regional gaming and entertainment experience.

• Ensures patrons are treated promptly, professionally, and courteously when participating in a promotion or event.
• Assists in arranging all entertainment for special events and promotions.
• Handles patron and team member questions, complaints or problems pertaining to promotions or events promptly.
• Responsible for detailed planning and execution of events and promotions as directed by the manager.
• Assists all on‑and off‑site marketing programs, promotions and special events for increasing casino revenues; also responsible for tracking and analysis of these programs.
• Completes reports, database updates and correspondence in a timely manner to meet deadlines set by internal and external sources.
• Works with selected third parties to ensure flawless planning and execution of their events when held on property.
• Ensures event and promotion projects meet established timelines and stay within budget.
• Performs and completes all other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to all department/company policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Entertainment‑based field preferred or equivalent professional experience required.
• Event planning, VIP services and general hosting experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
• 24/7 high‑energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3,000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• Will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
