Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support Geotechnical staff within a branch and across a region.
- Host or attend project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to help deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor Associate Principals.
- Participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical).
- At the office and regional levels:
- Oversee projects.
- Perform technical report reviews.
- Prepare and review proposals.
- Assist with management of the department and P&L.
- Conduct business development and support other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
- Assist hiring managers to help make staffing decisions.
- Lead and coach junior staff members.
- Due to low barriers between departments, duties may also include performing these tasks within CMT.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- 12 years of related experience.
- Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license required in each state in which you work.
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.
The expected pay range for this role and location is $125,000 - $175,000/year. The final agreed‑upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
