We are seeking an Applications Engineer who provides technical expertise to support customers, sales teams, and internal departments. This role helps interpret customer requirements, recommends appropriate product solutions, prepares technical documentation, and ensures products are applied correctly. The Applications Engineer serves as a key technical resource throughout the sales and project process.

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine suitable product applications.
• Provide technical guidance to customers, sales, and internal teams on product capabilities and system solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, configurations, and supporting documents for quotes and projects.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to confirm feasibility and align solutions with company capabilities.
• Recommend product alternatives, cost‑effective options, or design adjustments when needed.
• Assist with technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and application questions during pre‑sale and early project stages.
• Develop and maintain application guidelines, product documents, and standard templates.
• Prepare submittals, manuals, and technical documentation for customer review.
• Stay current on product updates, industry standards, and competitor offerings.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the application engineering process.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field; or equivalent experience
• 1–3+ years of experience in applications engineering, sales engineering, technical support, or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong technical problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or quoting systems is helpful
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work cross‑functionally

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing, electrical distribution, controls, or industrial equipment.
• Understanding industry codes or product certification requirements.
• Basic CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solid Works).
• Experience preparing technical documentation or training materials.
• Knowledge of pricing, estimating, or product configuration
