Mechanical Engineer - Project Commissioning Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of project owner documents, design plans, and specifications.
  • Perform detailed inspections and assessments of building systems, identifying deficiencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic commissioning test plans and procedures.
  • Generate comprehensive reports outlining commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with project stakeholders to resolve commissioning challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Stay informed on industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Certified Commissioning Professional or Licensed Engineer.
  • Expertise in building enclosure, mechanical, electrical power, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant field experience, including commissioning and construction inspection.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, construction management, and commissioning software tools.
  • Ability to navigate construction sites physically, including climbing and lift operations.
Preferred Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with LEED or similar sustainability certifications.
  • Understanding of building codes and industry benchmarks.
Other Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clearance eligibility for military bases, with background check.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, mainly locally.
