V2X is seeking a Lead Decontamination Supervisor with no less than seven (7) years of experience related to explosives / energetics decontamination, demilitarization, and demolition to support our Government customer.
Clearance requirement: active Secret (Tier
3) level Security Clearance.
- Lead and supervise explosives / energetics decontamination, demilitarization, and demolition.
- Coordinate inspection, certification, storage, packaging, labeling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials, explosive hazardous waste, material potentially presenting an explosive hazard, munitions or explosives of concern, bulk explosives, propellants, and ordnance items.
Education / Certifications:
- Current HAZWOPER certification (40‑hour initial and 8‑hour annual refresher).
- Examination and certification for either the Basics of Naval Explosives Hazard Control (AMMO 18‑DL) or Naval Explosives Safety for Supervisors / Managers (AMMO‑49‑DL), and Military Munitions Rule training courses (Appendix D of NAVSEA OP‑5).
- DOT Explosive Handler physical examination certification.
Experience /
Skills:
- At least seven (7) years of experience directly related to coordination and supervision of explosives / energetics decontamination, demilitarization, and demolition programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of and responsibility for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local environmental and OSHA regulations.
