We're seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with expertise in RF systems and SIGINT solutions to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you'll design, analyze, and optimize complex hardware systems while also applying hands‑on skills to installation, wiring, and troubleshooting. Your work will directly support some of the most critical intelligence operations in the nation.
What You’ll Do- Translate system and mission requirements into functional hardware designs for servers, networks, storage, user devices, and specialized processors.
- Wire and assemble RF systems based on schematics and engineering diagrams.
- Conduct site surveys and document unique requirements for each location.
- Prepare engineering plans, technical design packages, and installation schedules
. - Configure, integrate, and test hardware across multi‑site deployments.
- Use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters) to verify performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and maintain installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting manuals
. - Train site personnel on proper hardware use and maintenance.
- Perform operational analysis to identify choke points, failure modes, and maintainability improvements.
- Provide input on throughput analyses, MTBF/MTTR studies
, and simulations of proposed systems.
- 10+ years of experience analyzing and engineering complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
- Substitution: 5 additional years of hardware engineering experience may replace the degree.
- Hands‑on experience with:
- RF system wiring from schematics
- Hardware installation and integration
- Electronic test equipment and troubleshooting of electronic systems
- Proven ability to manage multi‑site hardware installations and document as‑built configurations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with engineers, technicians, and mission customers.
