EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or higher and meets certification requirements as established by the Maryland State Department of Education.
• Other experience as established by Maryland Law and Board of Education policy.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard.

The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

About Us

Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is one of the fastest growing school systems in Maryland. Located south of Washington, D.C., Charles County is considered part of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Charles County has a population of 170,102 and is located in Southern Maryland. Elementary schools are composed of students from prekindergarten to Grade 5; middle schools have students from Grade 6 to 8;
