- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental levels to tailor play-based therapy plans effectively
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic activities that promote motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development through play
- Engage children in interactive play sessions that encourage communication, problem-solving, and social skills
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and reinforce developmental goals at home and in other settings
- Monitor and document each child's progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies as needed to maximize growth
- Educate families on developmental milestones and provide guidance on supporting their child's development through everyday activities
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment that fosters trust and enthusiasm for learning through play
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and evidence-based play therapy techniques
- Bachelor degree in human service field
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, families, and team members
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to individual needs
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to motivate children during therapy sessions
- Experience working with children with diverse developmental challenges is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Certification or training in developmental therapy or related fields is a plus
