Early Childhood Education Disabilities Specialist

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education/Disabilities Specialist (
ECE/DS
) to join our team in Columbia, SC Regional office.

We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974. We serve migrant and seasonal farm worker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment. We have 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve nearly 3,000 children each year.

As the ECE/DS, you will Provide on-going direction, support, training, and technical assistance for Direct Service Centers in the design, development and implementation of quality early childhood education services for migrant children and families. (Full job description attached)

Preferred:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. Head Start experience preferred.

Accepted:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. Head Start experience preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Frequent travel in rural areas in/out of state (3-4 times per week) and some overnights.
