School-Based Speech-Language Interpreter (SLI/ASL) – Elementary

Full-time position to provide one-to-one speech-language interpreting support for an elementary student in a school-based setting. Remote candidates may be considered depending on experience.

$31.59/hr – $34.23/hr

• Provide 1:1 Speech-Language Interpreting support for an elementary student
• Facilitate clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers
• Support access to classroom instruction and school activities
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers
• Maintain professional documentation and confidentiality

• High school diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf Education, Communication Studies, or related field preferred
• Valid ASL interpreter certification (RID CI/CT, NAD Level II or higher, or state/district-approved SLI credential)
• Passing Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA or district-approved alternative) if required
• School-based or pediatric interpreting experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks
• Competitive hourly pay ($31.59–$34.23/hr based on experience)
