Medical Director – Brentwood, TN

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Director to join our team of medical professionals at Medi-Weight loss in Brentwood, TN
.

This flexible role is ideal for a physician with an active practice or established presence in the Brentwood/Nashville area who wants to make a positive impact on the health of the local community.

The Medical Director works independently, with support from a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner and a Medical Assistant
. The environment is fast-paced and the position is multifaceted.

• Review patient files in accordance with Tennessee state guidelines.

• Oversee mid-level providers and clinical staff.

• Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs.

• Assist with protocol development and delivery of staff training.

• Provide clinical guidance and direction to staff and leadership.

• Coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals as needed.

• Advise on implementation of patient care and clinic policies.

• Provide insight on market conditions and potential practice opportunities in the Brentwood area.

• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.

• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of clinic personnel.

• Support patient communications and resolution of concerns.

• Document patient progress in EMR.

• Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups.

• Participate in refresher trainings (regional, onsite, boot camps, or e-learning).

• Perform other clinical tasks necessary for day-to-day operations.

• Active Tennessee Medical License and DEA Certification (required).

• Specialty in General Practice, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OBGYN (preferred).

• Active medical practice or residence in Brentwood or the Greater Nashville Area (preferred).

• Malpractice premium covered by employer.

• Medical guideline training and travel expenses covered.

• Part-time flexible schedule, with support from experienced staff.
