As our Sales Lead, you'll play a critical role in driving bookings, guiding pet parents to the right services, and leading a team that delivers confident, caring, and accurate reservation experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is both sales-driven and deeply caring-a strong communicator who can learn quickly, think holistically, and inspire others to perform at a high level.
The RoleAs the Sales Manager, you will be accountable for driving bookings, optimizing schedules, and leading a high-performing reservations team. Through close collaboration with Client Care, Pet Care, and Training departments, you will turn client needs into confident purchasing decisions while ensuring exceptional execution across all services
Key Responsibilities Sales, Reservations & Client Experience- Convert inbound inquiries into confirmed reservations and appointments through consultative, needs-based conversations
- Confidently present and recommend lodging, daycare, training, and spa services based on each pet’s needs and the client’s goals
- Maximize booking value while maintaining trust, transparency, and care
- Accurately enter and manage reservations to ensure safe, smooth, and successful pet stays
- Schedule and lead engaging facility tours that build confidence and drive bookings
- Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat visits and client advocacy
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Reservation Specialists to meet performance and service standards
- Train team members to confidently understand, explain, and sell all service offerings
- Set expectations for conversion quality, scheduling accuracy, and client communication
- Act as an escalation point for complex reservations or client concerns
- Foster a positive, accountable, and client-focused team culture
- Consistently convert inquiries into bookings through confident, needs-based sales conversations
- Optimize schedules to support strong service utilization across lodging, daycare, training, and spa
- Lead a well-trained, knowledgeable reservations team that operates with accuracy and confidence
- Maintain high standards for data accuracy to support pet safety and operational success
- Build trust with clients, resulting in repeat visits, positive feedback, and referrals
- Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure promises made align with services delivered
- Proven experience in sales, reservations, or client-facing roles (leadership experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to quickly learn and deeply understand multiple service offerings
- Strong phone presence with confident, engaging communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable leading others and holding team members accountable
- Proficient computer and scheduling system skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
