Our special event reps are responsible for attending events, campaigns, and conferences on behalf of Maryland Live! As part of the marketing team, they are an important facet of the company as they share their knowledge with clients about the range of products and services that we offer.

In this entry-level marketing and event planning position; excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are a must! An event representative should have a pleasant and outgoing personality, professional demeanor, and flexibility with their schedule.

Compensation: $17.00/hr

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Complete training on all promotional systems as directed by supervisor
• Oversee setup/breakdown for events & promotions
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer customer inquiries
• Manage promotional inventory during events
• Record customer information within the program database
• Ensure all items given to guests are properly redeemed and accounted for on their accounts using the gaming system
• Assist guests with issues at promotional kiosks during promotions
• Provide detailed reports to supervisor on event strengths and opportunities
• Ensure marketing programs are successful from start to finish
• Support guests according to customer service policies

Must-Haves:

• High School Diploma or five years of professional experience
