Role of the Worship Intern is to assist with weekly operations of the Worship Music team and Perform with the Band on weekends as needed and other special projects.
Each intern will we paired with a mentor from the Nativity Band
Responsibilities- Attend all scheduled meetings, rehearsals and performances
- Assist Music directors in planning of open mic nights and worship night events
- Participate in other weekend ministries as directed
- Perform with the band at weekend services and a few special events
Weekly Check-in meeting with Band Mentor
Weekend Commitment 7:45am-12:00n and 4pm-6pm every sunday during the internship.
Band Rehearsals (Typically one week a month on Tuesday and Thursday Morning)
Special Events (a few Tuesdays and Thursday evenings during internship)
Qualities of an Ideal Candidate- Candidate should be a skilled musician, ideally a vocalist but an instrumentalist could also be the right candidate
- Candidate has some previous experience performing in a worship setting even if it is volunteer experience (Not required)
- Candidate has an Interest in working in a church setting or leading worship as a career path
- Candidate is College age or Recent College Graduate (Age 18-24)
