Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled superintendent with extensive experience in diverse commercial construction projects to manage a variety of upcoming initiatives. These projects encompass higher education facilities, religious buildings, office spaces, and other commercial structures. The role involves overseeing both renovation and new construction projects, focusing on interiors and base-build elements.

Responsibilities

* Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.

* Order necessary materials and manage project resources effectively.

* Create and maintain project schedules, including two-week look-ahead plans.

* Interpret and work from blueprints to guide project execution.

* Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and security measures.

Essential Skills

* Strong experience in commercial construction, including interiors and base-build projects.

* Experience with SCIF, DOD, and interior commercial fit-outs.

* Proficient in site work and commercial construction processes.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Proven ability in material ordering and schedule creation.

* Competency in blueprint reading.

* Effective subcontractor management skills.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site at various construction locations. All projects are within a one-hour radius from the Owings Mills office. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owings Mills, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
