Field Project Coordinator

At Communications Construction Group, the Field Project Coordinator works directly with the project management team and is responsible for coordinating/monitoring the activities of construction crews and/or subcontractors to ensure new construction, repair, and system maintenance activities are completed within established timeframe and specifications.

- Ensure execution of overhead/underground CATV construction duties such as: placing hard‑line cables, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers.
- Perform detailed walkout of outside communications plant
- Coordinate construction efforts with Project Manager / Construction Supervisors for project completion by predetermined deadlines including site access scheduling
- Review daily work sheets from field/subcontractors and update tracking reports
- Requisition materials needed for construction operations
- Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where personnel are working
- Function as liaison with customers
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- Verifiable experience in the telecommunications/CATV construction industry
- Experience interpreting construction/contractor blueprints and as‑builts (a plus)
- Experience in outside field surveying preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be a dependable self‑starter, able to work unsupervised in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment
- Good decision making, analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly explain issues
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening
