Strategic Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, identifying opportunities for expansion, and aligning with overall business goals.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at client companies.
• Sales & Growth: Drive revenue growth, manage pricing, negotiate contracts, and close deals by understanding and proposing innovative solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Technical, Supply Chain, R&D, Operations) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and fulfill commitments.
• Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer internally, communicating needs and feedback to refine strategies and offerings.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), forecast sales, and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage deep product and industry knowledge (e.g., metals, packaging, chemicals) to provide compelling value propositions.

• Proven experience in key account management within manufacturing or a related industrial field.
• Strong technical background or understanding relevant to the products/industry. Preferred BS in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term profitability and customer retention.
• Ability to work in a complex, team-oriented environment.
