Job Description SummaryThe Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing reports to the Director of Procurement, leading global direct category strategies, managing procurement for multiple categories including packaging, rubber and glass. Spearheading sourcing initiatives autonomously, the seasoned leader drives down costs, mitigates risks, boosts quality, and secures a steady supply.

Key Responsibilities- Devise and apply category strategies that align with our business aspirations
- Manage supplier relationships through conducting performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and nurturing long‑term partnerships
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and R&D teams to understand needs and synchronize procurement tactics with business objectives
- Drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to find opportunities
- Monitor category performance and report on cost optimization and value creation goals
- Champion creative thinking and challenge the status quo to drive procurement excellence
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred
- 5+ years of procurement experience, focusing on direct materials in a regulated industry (preferably medical devices or pharmaceuticals)
- Shown strength in ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proven track record in supplier management, cost control, and strategic sourcing
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills with demonstrated expertise in leading strategic negotiations and completing complex contracts
- Ability to inspire change and influence cross‑functional teams
- Demonstrates strong relationship‑building capabilities and exhibits a positive demeanor
- Bold and assertive approach with a passion for innovation
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with collaborators effectively
- Self‑motivated and takes accountability
- Quick learner with a proactive approach
We prioritize on‑site collaboration; for most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work‑life balance. Remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting.
