Cost Analyst – Upper Marlboro, MD
Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a prominent environmental services organization in Upper Marlboro, MD to identify a Cost Analyst for their growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role suited for a detail-driven, analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Core ResponsibilitiesPricing & Proposals
- Develop and review pricing for new accounts, proposals, and competitive bids.
- Create polished proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Assist leadership with financial modeling, cost analysis, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to promote satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee contract renewals, extensions, and amendments while ensuring pricing accuracy.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to evaluate profitability and compliance.
- Resolve customer inquiries, service issues, and billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Contracts & Compliance
- Review contracts for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
- Monitor service levels and collaborate with operations and billing teams to ensure proper implementation.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract documentation.
Program Administration
- Manage the Annual Price Increase Program, including data analysis, client notifications, and system updates.
- Ensure pricing data, reports, and supporting documentation are accurate and accessible.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in account management, pricing analysis, or financial modeling (environmental services experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate agreements.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
