KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Administrative Assistant, to join our team. This position will perform work 100% at a Government on-site facility. Work will be split between St. Inigoes and Patuxent River.

This position will perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

Primary Duties
  • Perform general administrative functions to include:
    • Drafting correspondence
    • Receiving visitors
    • Arranging conference calls
    • Scheduling appointments
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents
  • Schedule travel and reconcile expenses
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
  • Train and supervise other lower‑level clerical staff
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills
  • Self‑starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
  • Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to work within a challenging, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi‑task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology
  • Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and record‑keeping systems.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an administrative support role, desired.
Clearance

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
