The vacancy is for an experienced Document Controller to join the WPS Planned Works team. This role supports a new social housing partner delivering the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works. The position is primarily office‑based, with occasional travel to sites as required.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update project documentation in line with company standards and client requirements.
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version‑controlled, and easily accessible.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to manage document flow.
- Monitor compliance with document control procedures and resolve discrepancies.
- Support audits and reporting by providing accurate documentation records.
- Previous experience in document control within construction, housing, or planned works environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to sites when required.
