Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Residential Real Estate group. This role serves as a liaison between the real estate operations and the accounting/finance team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

+ Process approximately 30+ detailed invoices daily using Quick Books.

+ Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and maintain accurate records.

+ Apply incoming ACH and wire payments to appropriate receivables accounts.

+ Handle incoming mail and distribute accordingly.

+ Collaborate with various internal departments and external contacts to resolve payment-related inquiries.

+ Perform general office tasks as needed to support the team.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Excellent communication skills and comfort working with diverse teams.

+ Prior experience in accounts payable.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Receivables experience is a plus.

+ Real estate industry experience is helpful but not required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Hunt Valley, MD. The role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hunt Valley, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.84/hr.
