We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with Unanet experience to join our growing finance team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a government contracting (Gov Con) environment and familiarity with project-based accounting.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Perform account reconciliations including balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Support project accounting activities including project setup, labor distribution, and project cost tracking
• Maintain financial records in Unanet ERP system and ensure data accuracy
• Assist with billing, revenue recognition, and contract accounting as needed
• Support audit requests and provide documentation for internal and external auditors
• Monitor and maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Partner with project managers and finance leadership to provide financial insights and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Unanet ERP (required)
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
