Overview
Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Hanover, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have substantial experience in inventory and cost accounting. The role requires the ability to read and interpret complex financial reports and statements effectively.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Conduct inventory and cost accounting tasks.
- Utilize ERP systems, with a preference for experience in Business Central.
- Employ advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience in inventory and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems;
Business Central experience preferred. - Advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude and perseverance.
