• Prepares federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual).
• Reviews tax work of staff and interns, providing feedback, training, and mentoring.
• Resolves tax research issues and coordinates with clients and staff while building relationships.
• Assists with the coordination of day‑to‑day duties of planning, tax work, and delivery of finished work product.
• Identifies and communicates tax matters to Managers and Partners.

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid‑size public accounting firm.
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws – corporate, individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation.
• CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client‑service orientation.
• Sensitivity to urgency and ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project‑management skills.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM, and Caseware is a plus.
