• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer or communication skills (if relevant)
• Ability to work with students
• Experience in schools or similar settings

• The Instructional Assistant supports classroom teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment for elementary-aged students.
• Work directly with students to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist with classroom management and support individual and group instruction.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or administration.
• Ideal candidate is patient, organized, and passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially.

Hourly rate is based on experience and certification at a range from $14.75-$20.25. Benefit options for positions over 29 hours per week include Section 125 health, vision, and dental coverage, subject to plan terms (for employees who work an average of 30 hours or more per week). Voluntary benefits such as life insurance, long-term disability, and other ancillary insurance options (subject to applicable waiting periods, for employees who work an average of 30 hours or more per week).

Paid Time Off, 3 personal days and 5 sick days. This will be prorated based on the start date. Unused paid leave days roll over into sick accumulated days, and use of the Wellness Gym (workout facility for all employees and guests ages 18+) and Marathon Health Clinic.
