HVAC Technician​/Installer

• Pay Rate: $32.00 to $37.00/hr based on experience

Heating and Air Solutions proudly serves Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan Counties in West Virginia with high-quality HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services. Our team is dedicated to providing reliable, efficient, and comfortable indoor air solutions to both residential and light commercial clients.

We are looking for a qualified HVAC Technician/Installer to join our growing team. This role is pivotal to delivering comfort, efficiency, and system reliability to our residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a customer-first mindset, and a valid West Virginia HVAC license.

Note: A valid West Virginia HVAC license is required. If not currently held, you must be able to obtain one, with pay increasing upon licensure.

• Lead the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, equipment).
• Ensure compliance with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to meet deadlines.
• Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and equipment
• Diagnose and repair gas/electric furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Conduct system inspections and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Clearly explain diagnoses, repair options, and maintenance tips to customers.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document all services and interactions accurately.
• Comply with all company safety, conduct, and operational policies.

• Current and valid West Virginia HVAC license (or ability to obtain within a defined period).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation or service.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in diverse physical environments.
• Pay Rate: $32.00 to $37/hr based on qualifications and experience.
• WV HVAC license (or ability to obtain within a defined period).

• Successful completion of a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Current EPA Universal Certification.
