We are seeking acompassionate and skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative neonatal care team in Eastern West Virginia. This role focuses on providing high-quality, evidence-based care to neonatal patients in a hospital-based setting while working closely with neonatologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to neonates,including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management
- Manage neonatal patients in collaboration with physicians and the care team
- Perform and assist with neonatal procedures within scope of practice
- Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status and care plans
- Document care accurately and timely inthe electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols
- Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
- Current APRN licensure and NNPcertification
- Active West Virginia license or abilityto obtain
- BLS and NRP required (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
