Interventional Radiology Physicians

West Virginia University - School of Medicine Eastern Division seeks an Interventional Radiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of radiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a radiology residency program. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Radiology and obtain DEA registration. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Location and Community: Our Eastern Panhandle location is just over an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD. It offers a rural atmosphere with a lower cost of living and easy access to the Washington DC / Baltimore areas. Berkeley County is among the fastest-growing counties in the state, with little congestion and traffic. Recent years have seen a growth in telecommuting and high-tech industries, fueled by professionals from nearby urban centers.
