WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Orthopedic-Hand Physician. The successful candidate will primarily practice in Martinsburg, WV.

Responsibilities: The candidate will specialize in hand surgery. WVU Medicine's Orthopedic and Sports Medicine providers offer comprehensive services including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of the musculoskeletal system.

Qualifications: Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency and a Hand Surgery fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery is required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Berkeley Medical Center, a 195-bed non-profit hospital, offers radiology services, a wound care center with hyperbaric chambers, NICU, ICU, oncology, neurosurgery, and a Cardiac Cath Lab. Recent expansions include new outpatient and main hospital ORs focused on robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health.

The Eastern Panhandle, located just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD, offers a rural atmosphere with a lower cost of living and easy access to urban areas. The region is experiencing growth due to an influx of professionals and high-tech industries.

The WVU Health System, with over 2,700 beds and more than 20 hospitals, is West Virginia's largest health system, anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown.
