Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn). In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions, ensuring the well-being of patients.
As an MD/DO Ob/Gyn, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from conducting routine check-ups and screenings to performing surgical procedures and assisting in childbirth. Your role is essential in promoting women's health and addressing their unique medical needs. Responsibilities:- Conducting physical examinations and evaluating medical histories of patients.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds and blood work.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for gynecological conditions.
- Performing surgical procedures, including hysterectomies and C-sections.
- Providing prenatal care and monitoring the health of pregnant women.
- Counseling patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and specialists.
- Keeping accurate medical records and documenting patient progress.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ob/Gyn.
- Strong knowledge of women's health issues and gynecological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule:
24-hour shifts
No call required
Level III NICU
Patient Census: 80-100 deliveries per month
OB ED Volume: 1800 per year
Must be board-certified
